Twitterrific, the twitter iPhone app, finally becomes terrific in its recently released new version 2.0. In deed, it becomes an ultimate twitter tool you will ever need on iPhone, at least to me. So why did I get so excited about it today that I even twittered a few times after I had it installed on my iPhone? Here is my 5 reasons.

Reason 1, the UI design is awesome. It looks cool and easy to use. And it even makes switching between applications on iPhone back and forth much easier. Get hands on it, you will feel the coolness.

Reason 2, support multiple accounts. Man, even better than TweetDeck.

Reason 3, built-in powerful two kinds of searches, including utilizing the location service for Nearby search so you can find what happens in the twitter world around you.

Reason 4, unified timeline for replies, DMs, favorites, and more.

Reason 5, powerful tweet actions such as RT, URL shortening, email, text compression, pictures to Yfrog, etc. Note that it doesn’t use the usual RT @ when retweeting but putting via @ in the end of the tweet, which makes more sense.

It also has wide range of advanced settings, which is hard to list them all here. You will have to spend a bit of time poking around to discover the settings that fit you.

Two words, Awe-some! Time to delete all other twitter apps from you iPhone, because ultimately this is the only one you will ever need. :)

And if you are interested, you can check a little bit secret behind the design from Choices on furbo.org, one of the author’s blog.
