The biggest web design mistakes of 2004

Vincent Flanders' Web Pages That Suck has a very interesting article called “The Biggest Web Design Mistakes 2004” that lists the mistakes on web design from a visitor's perspective. Some of them are very good but not all of them.  One sentence comments blog like:

As Seth Godin points out, blogs only work when they meet four of the following five conditions:

  1. Candor
  2. Urgency
  3. Timeliness
  4. Pithiness
  5. Controversy

Well, I can't fully agree with that.  Everyone has their own reason, purpose to have their own blog. That “only work” word completely misunderstands what the blogs' spirit is. But overall, this is a quite good article.
