Does it sound good? No, of course not. Here is the reason why my 6G iPod turn to 20G when I connected it to my laptop the other day, and was causing no sychronize at all even after I re-formated it.
I have one loca drive C, one CD-RW drive D, and one virtual DVD-Rom E. Plus, I had a mapped network drive F at that day. And all sounds in my iTunes were sychronized to F: drive, which I didn't realized at the first place and found it accidently after a while when I was looking for the other files on that drive. Then I realized why my 6G iPod turn to 20G and no songs got copied over.
So in this case, I am assuming the "disk use" enabled iPod will take one of the drive letter from C to F and it doesn't seem to look for other spare letters. Wasn't sure the problem is due to the iPod software or Windows USB Plug-n-Play component, but would highly recommend that before connecting you iPod with "disk use" enabled to your computer, be sure there is at lease one drive letter from C to F is available. Otherwise, who knows what would happen?
Anyway, enjoy your cool tool
